Job summary

Federal, Inc. seeks a seasoned Cloud Platform Architect for its TDI Infrastructure Engineering team to define standards and patterns for scalable cloud infrastructure supporting AI workloads.

You will lead Kubernetes/EKS architecture, drive multi-cloud decisions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and collaborate with AI, security, and productivity teams to ensure compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP/Azure at enterprise scale.
• Proven experience designing and operating Kubernetes and EKS at scale.
• Experience architecting infrastructure for AI and machine learning workloads.
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Infrastructure-as-code fluency: Terraform, AWS CDK, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Cloud Platform architecture — establish reference architectures, design standards, and guardrails across workloads.
• Lead the architecture for Kubernetes and EKS — design cluster strategy, multi-tenancy, networking, and security posture at scale.
• Elevate the company's AI platform — partner with AI architects to productionize model-serving infrastructure.
• Drive multi-cloud strategy — evaluate workloads across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud with cost and performance considerations.
• Serve as the technical anchor for the Cloud Platform Engineering team and align with DoD-centric and FedRAMP-compliant deployments.
