Overview

• Claims Background: Candidates should have extensive background handling federal claims such as: Longshore, Defense Base Act (DBA), Black Lung, FELA, etc.
• Prior leadership experience: Minimum of 2 years prior leadership/people management experience in a claims environment required
• Jurisdictional experience: Federal Longshore, Black Lung, FELA
• Licenses: No license required
• Location: This role is eligible for fully remote work.

Manage Workloads:Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensureoptimalefficiency.

Client Communication:Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.

Prioritize and Develop:Effectively manage multiple competing priorities,identifycoaching opportunities, and position team members for successful development.

About You

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
• Knowledge of all team member related functions
