Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a seasoned claims leader to supervise a liability claims team and drive high-quality service across a remote-ready environment. You will lead hiring and training, promote Best Practices, and align workloads with performance goals while collaborating with clients, carriers, and brokers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
• Knowledge of all team member related functions
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and encourage a liability claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Guide claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB’s Best Practices.
• Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Harness the power of Gallagher's technology to enhance your team's efficiency and overall quality of service.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.
• Effectively manage multiple competing priorities, identify coaching opportunities, and position team members for successful development.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Supervise: Lead and encourage a liability claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities to deliver high-quality and efficient service.

About You

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

• Claims Background: General Liability
• Prior leadership experience: 2-3 years or more in a supervisory role
• Jurisdictional Experience: Open to any
