Job summary

Garver’s growing Federal team seeks a Civil Engineer for Federal Projects in Oklahoma City. You will design roadways, trails, site development, and utilities for federal clients including Air Force, Navy, National Guard, and USAACE.

You’ll produce design deliverables, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, perform onsite construction observation, and use AutoCAD Civil 3D. ABET-accredited degree, PE license, and 7+ years of design experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
• 7+ years of civil design experience.
• Detail- oriented and a team player with strong self-initiative to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Some travel may be required with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Produce full design phase deliverables including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports and narratives.
• Perform onsite construction observation duties and construction administration.
• Conduct submittal reviews for projects under construction.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams and diverse clients using design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
