Job summary

Jacobs in Boston, MA is seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate to support our federal team in a hybrid capacity. You’ll contribute to site civil layout, grading, and utility design while addressing water, resiliency, and DoD project needs.

You’ll work with design teams to prepare plans, analyses, and basis of design reports, and develop skills under expert mentorship. Occasional travel and in-person work at the Boston office are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
• US Citizenship required
• Live within commutable distance to Boston, MA office

Responsibilities

• Assist in traditional site civil layout, grading and utility design
• Develop site plans, utility plans and grading plans to meet Federal design standards
• Perform watershed analyses and design stormwater management systems
• Prepare engineering assessments, calculations and basis of design reports
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and mentors to advance workflows and communication techniques
