Constellation Brands is seeking a Federal Business Analyst to join our Homeland Security team in Washington, DC, to evaluate processes, people, and technology supporting our clients’ operations. You will support CBP by developing solutions to enhance processes and create efficiencies, engaging with government leaders and a team of program management professionals dedicated to mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or communications.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis with federal government clients.
• Strong writing and editing skills; proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate; advanced knowledge preferred.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with client management and SMEs to learn processes and identify solutions.
• Communicate effectively with program managers, developers, executives and stakeholders nationwide.
• Perform business process reengineering by analyzing current state, designing solutions, developing prototypes, and implementing solutions.
• Generate ad-hoc reports for senior leadership; summarizing program status.
• Write reports, communication packages, and briefings for executive leadership.
• Provide training, guidance, and best practices to staff nationwide.
• Analyze existing system and process limitations and develop recommendations to integrate disparate systems.
• Leverage Microsoft Office tools to enhance decision making and empower staff analysis.
• Translate highly technical concepts for end-users.

Job description: Federal Business Analyst

Constellation is seeking a Federal Business Analyst to join our Homeland Security team in Washington, DC, to evaluate the processes, people, and technology supporting our clients’ operations. In this role you will assist US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) by supporting a nationwide program and developing solutions to enhance existing processes, create efficiencies, and develop new solutions to further advance program goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Building relationships with client management and Subject Matter Experts to learn about their processes and identify solutions to problems.

• Ability to perform business process reengineering by quickly analyzing the current state, designing new solutions, developing prototypes, and implementing solutions.

The ideal candidate must have the following experience, background, and credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or communications.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis and experience working with federal government clients.
• Strong writing and editing skills; proficiency in advanced functions of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Understanding of how Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate can be leveraged to develop solutions. Advanced knowledge preferred.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
