Job summary

Aptive, based in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the VA OCI OIP contract. You will lead budget planning and forecasting for the clinical informatics portfolio, collaborating with program managers to ensure accurate cost projections and timely financial insights.

This role requires 6+ years in budget, financial, or cost analysis, with PPBE/MFR experience in a federal setting, and the ability to obtain a VA background investigation to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in budget, financial, or cost analysis.
• Experience with PPBE/MFR in a large government organization and federal budget regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA background investigation and work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Implement PPBE and MFR activities, including multi-year programming, budget formulation, and appropriation tracking.
• Forecast portfolio costs, track obligations and expenditures, and analyze variances with corrective recommendations.
• Participate in SAFe Agile Release Trains and mentor junior analysts.
