BCS Allegient is seeking a highly organized Financial Management Analyst to support the Department of Energy's Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations in Washington, DC. You will provide budget, financial, operational, and administrative support to senior program staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Federal budget planning, execution, tracking, and reporting activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support Federal budget lifecycle activities, including budget formulation, Congressional budget justification processes, budget execution, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
• Track and monitor funding, expenditures, commitments, and obligations to support sound financial management and decision-making.
• Maintain and analyze financial data to support program performance reporting and budget oversight activities.
• Provide expertise and support in resolving complex accounting issues, ensuring adherence to federal accounting standards and DOE regulations.
• Provide advice and guidance on appropriations law, ensuring all budget formulation and execution activities comply with statutory requirements and regulations.
• Develop, document, and maintain budget, operational, and internal control processes and procedures.
• Prepare summaries, trackers, status reports, and other business management products for leadership and program staff.
