Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Business Development Intern to support the Federal Civilian Growth team in McLean, VA. This internship focuses on quantitative and independent research to identify opportunities and drive measurable revenue growth.

The program runs for 10 weeks starting June 1, 2027, with 40 hours per week, and offers guidance from management, access to equipment, and potential academic credit.

Qualifications

• Hourly pay range is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
• Interns are eligible for benefits.
• All computer equipment and access to digital systems will be provided to the hired candidate.
• Students may also complete the internship for academic credit, subject to the qualifications of their academic program.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex, and incomplete data sets to identify and assess potential business opportunities.
• Assist in evaluating opportunities that lead to measurable revenue growth and team success.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, senior management, executives and peers.
• Gain knowledge of general business principles, corporate structure and government process improvement.
