Job summary

Development InfoStructure is seeking an experienced production engineer to join the AV team supporting a federal agency in Washington, DC. The role blends design, integration, and live production across Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other platforms, with hands-on switching, mixing, and post-production.

You will work onsite at headquarters with occasional travel to field offices, contribute to lifecycle planning, and train end users on collaboration technology.

Qualifications

  • 10 years in enterprise AV engineering and production.
  • Production credits on live executive or public events.
  • Editing with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Hands-on video switching with professional hardware.
  • Signal flow design and AV-over-IP know-how.
  • Experience supporting users across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate AV and VTC solutions across platforms.
  • Configure and maintain switchers, mixers, DSPs, and cameras.
  • Run live events with switching, mixing, recording, and streaming.
  • Edit and produce assets for agency communications.
  • Set up Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Poly sessions; manage multi-location connections.
  • Diagnose audio/video/network issues and recommend fixes.
  • Maintain firmware and lifecycle planning for AV/VTC systems.
  • Monitor system performance and plan upgrades.
  • Train end users on conference room technology.
