Take2 Consulting, LLC seeks a Financial Reporting Analyst to support Department of the Air Force audit remediation efforts at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. The role emphasizes rigorous financial analysis, audit readiness, and substantive testing within a federal environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
• Experience supporting federal financial management, audit readiness, or audit remediation initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Experience performing substantive testing and detailed transaction testing.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive audit testing and financial analysis of financial statements and related financial data.
• Review supporting documentation for accounts payable, reimbursables, obligations, and other financial transactions.
• Execute testing work plans, assess findings, and validate supporting work products.
• Research and evaluate compliance with FIAR Guidance, SFFAS, GAAP, OMB Circular A-123, and GAO Green Book requirements.
• Support the development of proprietary and budgetary accruals, including Accounts Payable and Obligations accruals.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with government and project stakeholders to support audit readiness and remediation activities.
