The role requires at least six years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and ability to obtain/maintain a public trust.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in finance, accounting, financial management or related field.
• Expertise in conducting studies, analyzing findings and recommending improvements.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of financial statements and notes.
• Read and interpret regulatory and accounting guidance for federal programs.
• Ensure accuracy and validity of accounting transactions and ledgers.
• Develop briefing materials and present to government personnel at various levels.
• Educate management on delivery of financial/operational services.
• Identify controls deficiencies and advise on remediation.
• Lead and mentor lower-level staff and drive process improvements.
