Job summary

Checkmarx is seeking a Federal Account Manager to drive new business and grow existing federal customer relationships across the U.S. You will manage the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to renewal expansion.

The ideal candidate has MEDDPICC/MEDDIC experience, strong relationships with C-levels, and a knack for leveraging AI and LinkedIn to build a credible industry expert persona. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Federal sales or account management.
• Mastery of MEDDPICC/MEDDIC to qualify opportunities and drive predictable revenue.
• Skilled in Salesforce and Clari for accurate pipeline management and reporting, with multi-account focus.
• Experience collaborating with a Partner ecosystem to co-sell and deliver value to customers.
• Ability to cultivate an industry expert persona on LinkedIn and share AppSec insights.
• Expert use of AI tools to accelerate the sales cycle and personalize outreach to security buyers.
• Proficiency in Excel to model multi-year deal structures and margins.
• Experience negotiating software licenses and building pipelines at 5x target.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver on new logo quota within your defined territory.
• Nurture existing accounts and oversee renewal health.
• Expand Checkmarx licensing within existing accounts.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline and forecast.
• Collaborate with partners to drive net-new business and value.
• Travel as needed to secure relationships with customers.
