Job Overview

Forcepoint requires an experienced, high‑energy Federal Account Manager to drive sales of the Network Edge portfolio solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Air Force. The role includes strategy, lead generation, opportunity qualification, closing, and partnership development, with up to 50% travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed quarterly quotas.
  • Identify leads, qualify opportunities, and close business within the Network Edge portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Product Management to create quotes, proposals, and market insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, distributors, resellers, and VARs.
  • Lead sales presentations at resellers and end‑user locations.
  • Coordinate sales enablement with field sales representatives and managers.
  • Deliver compelling business value product demonstrations of Edge solutions to architectural, administrative, and executive audiences.
  • Organize and lead regional meetups and user groups.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive offerings and strategy across the network security space.
  • Act as liaison between customers and internal departments for smooth delivery of products and services.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of sales experience with proven ability to meet or exceed quotas in network security.
  • Experience selling network infrastructure‑based security appliances (firewalls, CASB, web security proxies).
  • Knowledge of routing and switching.
  • Strong public‑speaking, C‑level presentation, and white‑boarding skills.
  • Experience creating, building, and executing sales plays.
  • Professional network with partners and system integrators.
  • Creative sales thinking and strong commitment to customer mission.
  • Past experience as a sales specialist, strategist, or sales overlay.
  • Current/active TS clearance preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $260,000 – $300,000. Variable compensation, bonuses, paid time off, and region‑specific benefits are also available.
