Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs seeks a part-time hourly educator to plan and implement Raleigh County Schools' standards-based curriculum in line with WV standards. The role covers adopted and supplemental programs, and integration of 21st century technology to support reading, writing, and math learning.

The successful candidate will contribute to personalized learning and tiered instruction while participating in the Title I school-wide program and supporting various school-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Valid WV teaching certificate preferred.
• Experience with Title I school-wide program.
• Strong working/communication skills with students, parents, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Raleigh County Schools' standards-based curriculum based on WV Content Standards and Objectives.
• Implement adopted and supplemental academic programs.
• Implement appropriate 21st Century technology skills.
• Assist with personalized learning support for students in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics.
• Plan and implement tiered instruction for reading and math.
• Participate in the Title I school-wide program.
• Willing to implement other programs designated by Principal for school improvement.
• Includes supervisory and/or other duties as assigned by Principal.

• Responsible for implementing adopted and supplemental academic programs
• Responsible for implementing appropriate 21st Century technology skills
• Responsible for assisting with personalized learning support for students in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics
• Responsible for planning and implementing tiered instruction for reading and math
• Responsible for implementing and participating in the Title I school-wide program
• Strong working/communication skills with students, parents, and peers
• Willing to implement any other programs designated by Principal for school improvement
• Includes supervisory and/or other duties as assigned by Principal

$25 per hour up to 20 hours/week - for 35 weeks or until funds are expended
