Bank of America in Charlotte is seeking a Fed Settlements Analyst to ensure accurate, timely settlement of transactions processed through the Fed. You will work closely with the trading, finance, and compliance teams to resolve discrepancies and uphold risk controls.

The role emphasizes data analysis, process improvements, and collaboration across desks to support operational excellence in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Financial Services experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry experience in settlements (FED settlements is preferable, BNY/Broadridge experience a plus).
• Excellent communications skills and ability to present to an audience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
• Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalations.
• Knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money Protection and Funding.

Responsabilités

• Performs moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact according to the established written guidelines and procedures
• Responds to moderately complex client inquiries via numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service
• Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex transactions requiring escalations and exceptions
• Proactively identifies risk and opportunities for process improvements based on an understanding of how the work impacts other operational units
• Manage the settlement process for Fed transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies related to settlement reports and confirm settlements with counterparties.
• Liaise with various departments, including trading, finance, and compliance, to ensure alignment on settlement protocols.
• Conduct regular analysis of settlement data to identify trends, risks, and areas for process improvement.
• Assist in the development and execution of testing for new systems or enhancements related to settlement functions.
