KBR is seeking a skilled Technical Writer with Fed Civ proposal experience to develop technical content and narratives in collaboration with SMEs, Solution Architects, and Capture Teams. The role focuses on turning interview insights into compliant proposal content across technical approaches and management plans.

The successful candidate will draft sections such as Technical Approach, Transition Plans, and Risk Management, ensuring alignment with Fed Civ requirements and KBR’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and communication skills with ability to draft tailored proposal content under tight deadlines.
• Experience writing narratives for Federal Civilian IT/Cybersecurity/Engineering/Operations solutions.
• Ability to extract win themes and discriminators from capture teams, SMEs, and solution architects.

Responsibilities

• Draft technical proposal content that is compelling and compliant to solicitations.
• Harvest win themes and discriminators to reflect customer needs and KBR’s solution strategy.
• Storyboard and write sections such as Technical Approach, Management Approach, Transition Approach, Risk and Quality Plans, Executive Summaries.
• Incorporate feedback from storyboard reviews and teams to deliver compliant content under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information.
