Job summary

KBR is seeking a skilled Technical Writer for Federal Civilian proposals. The role involves collaborating with Solution Architects and SMEs to craft technical narratives, leveraging interviews, research, and content review to create compliant proposal content.

You will extract solution and win themes from Capture Teams and drive content through AI-assisted drafting. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong technical background and experience writing Fed Civ IT/Cybersecurity/Engineering

Qualifications

• Strong writing and communication skills to develop tailored proposal content under tight deadlines.
• Ability to extract solution and win theme information from Capture Teams, SMEs, and Solution Architects.

Responsibilities

• Interview Program Managers, SMEs, and Solution Architects to draft technical proposal content that is compliant with solicitation requirements.
• Harvest win themes and discriminators to develop compelling proposal content reflecting customer needs and KBR’s solution strategy.
• Storyboard and write sections such as Technical Approach, Management Approach, Transition Approach, Risk Management Plans, Quality Control Plans, Executive Summaries.
• Incorporate feedback from storyboard reviews, pink/red/gold teams to deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
• Attend capture, solution, and proposal meetings to tailor messaging to opportunities.
