Job summary

RGBSI is seeking an engineer to perform non-linear FEA analysis of designs using Abaqus and HyperMesh to support customer requirements. The role involves assisting in rubber product design and structural components, delivering technical data for reviews based on FEA results, and communicating issues clearly.

You will participate in customer meetings and manage multiple projects simultaneously, within an automotive-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of rubber products using non-linear analysis with Abaqus and HyperMesh.
• Assist in design of structural components to meet customer requirements with the same tools.
• Create technical data for reviews based on FEA, stress/strain, and fatigue evaluation (FE Safe or N-Code).
• Communicate design and program issues clearly and concisely.
• Ensure on-time delivery of information supporting program dates.
• Represent ZLC-NA at customer meetings as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and multi-task across several projects.
