Job summary

Trunk Tools, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Experts (FDX) Manager to lead a five-to-eight person team across a major contractor account. This player-coach role combines leadership with field work and regional coverage decisions.

You will partner with the Program Manager to align plans, cadence, and KPIs, while maintaining a high standard for adoption outcomes and delivery quality. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience including people leadership in a relevant field.
• Background in construction operations paired with strong AI fluency.
• Experience leading field, deployed, or turnaround teams; professional-services or consulting leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five to eight Forward Deployed Experts and stay hands-on.
• Allocate FDX across regions and projects against adoption targets.
• Ensure consistent methodology, use-case library, and outcomes across the team.
• Forecast capacity and adjust coverage; rotate FDX to fractional coverage as needed.
• Partner with the Program Manager on plan, cadence, and KPIs; interface with product teams.
