Job summary

You will prepare logbooks, QC plans, and job guide schedules; manage budgets; communicate with contractors; and resolve issues promptly. Travel up to 40% may be required; CTQP / ICC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform QC duties per FDOT 105 specification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, procedures and technical documents
• Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety on field projects
• Experience with project management and contractor quality control for DOT projects

Responsibilities

• Perform QC Manager duties per FDOT 105 specification.
• Compile logbooks, QC plans, and job guide schedules.
• Provide project management and contractor quality control for FDOT projects, including budget reviews and communications with contractors.
• Provide problem-solving and resolution on project issues.
• Create proposals and work orders for all DOT projects that arise.
• Identify safety concerns on project sites.
• Coordinate personnel and equipment with branch.
• Turn in required paperwork daily.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must be flexible to changing schedules and hours to support business needs. Overnight and weekend schedules may be necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.
