Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead delivery execution for a major FDA modernization initiative. This role requires a leader who can ensure consistent, high-quality, on-time delivery in a complex Agile environment.

Hybrid position requiring in-office presence 3 days per week at Gaithersburg and FDA Silver Spring campuses; coordinate across multi-team streams to maintain velocity and align with mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience.
• Current or recent FDA project leadership experience.
• Active PMI PMP certification.
• Experience in SAFe Agile environments.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects.
• Self-organized with cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Experience with Agile values, processes, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery execution to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.
• Align delivery priorities across workstreams and manage dependencies.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and end-user communities.
• Provide delivery metrics and proactive risk management.
• Support testing cycles including UAT and release planning.
• Drive transformation to elevate team performance and delivery efficiency.
