Job summary

Marex Group is seeking a focused FCM Clearing Support to provide operations clearing support for Futures & Options from its Chicago base. The role covers top day activity—allocations, Give Ups and Give Ins—while continuously monitoring trade activity for accurate clearing.

Candidates will engage with brokers, IT and risk teams to resolve issues, maintain regulatory compliance, and manage intraday margin risks. This is a fast-paced role within a regulated, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of clearing experience expected.
• Knowledge of Ion’s XTP Back Office, Ateo LISA, and Teo Clearing software.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a regulated environment and knowledge of risk and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all top day tasks are allocated, cleared, and accepted in a timely and efficient manner.
• Daily monitoring and problem resolution of exchange clearing gateways and third-party clearer file imports.
• Collaborate with brokers and assist with queries and requirements.
• Report issues to back-office supervisor and clearing manager.
• Work with IT and trade support groups to identify daily system issues.
• Manage top day trade activity to reduce intraday margin calls.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements under SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other exchanges.

The FCM Clearing Support provides operations clearing support for Futures & Options.

The role covers all top day activity including allocations, Give Ups, Give Ins, and constant monitoring of trade activity to ensure everything is clearing correctly.

Overall Responsibilities

• Ensure all top day tasks are allocated, cleared, and accepted in a timely and efficient manner.
• Daily monitoring and problem resolution of exchange clearing gateways and third-party clearer file imports.
• Daily monitoring and problem resolution of downstream internal system feeds and process.
• Collaborate with brokers, assisting with all queries and requirements.
• Report any issues to back-office supervisor and clearing manager.
• Ability to work closely with IT and trade support groups, advising of system issues daily.
• Manage top day trade activity to reduce intraday margin calls.
• Efficiently manage correspondence through group mailbox, as well as personal email.
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
• Adhereto the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
