Job summary

Marex is seeking a Clearing Support professional in the Chicago area to provide operations clearing support for Futures & Options. Responsibilities include allocations, Give Ups/Ins, and continuous monitoring of trade activity to ensure proper clearing across top day operations.

The role requires 3 to 6 years of clearing experience and familiarity with Ion XTP Back Office, Ateo LISA, Teo Clearing software, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of clearing experience required.
• Knowledge of Ion’s XTP Back Office, Ateo LISA, and Teo Clearing software.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a regulated environment and knowledge of risk/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all top day tasks are allocated, cleared, and accepted promptly.
• Daily monitoring and problem resolution of exchange clearing gateways and third-party clearer file imports.
• Monitor downstream internal system feeds and processes; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with brokers and assist with all queries and requirements.
• Report issues to back-office supervisor and clearing manager; escalate risks as needed.
• Work with IT and trade support groups to advise on system issues daily.
• Maintain compliance with SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other exchange rules.

Overall Responsibilities

• Ensure all top day tasks are allocated, cleared, and accepted in a timely and efficient manner.
• Daily monitoring and problem resolution of exchange clearing gateways and third-party clearer file imports.
• Daily monitoring and problem resolution of downstream internal system feeds and process.
• Collaborate with brokers, assisting with all queries and requirements.
• Report any issues to back-office supervisor and clearing manager.
• Ability to work closely with IT and trade support groups, advising of system issues daily.
• Manage top day trade activity to reduce intraday margin calls.
• Efficiently manage correspondence through group mailbox, as well as personal email.
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
