Qualifications

• Reading and understanding assembly/fabrication prints.

• Ability to handle transformers and welded assemblies safely.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle transformers and welded assemblies with overhead crane or fork truck.
• Set up welding equipment, wire feeders, and shielding gas for FCAW.
• Perform welding as directed by Welding Supervisor.
• Inspect welds and perform necessary grinding or gouging as required.
• Complete transformer checklists and safety/documents.
• Attend safety meetings and follow Hitachi Energy protocols.
