Cart.com in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Forklift Driver to support our distribution center operations. You will move cases safely using powered industrial equipment, track inventory with RF scanners, and collaborate with team members to maintain accuracy and productivity.

Onsite:

This position is open to applicants or individuals who are located in or around Salt Lake City, UT and able to work the assigned work schedule with flexibility for longer hours based off of business and peak needs.

The Role:

A Forklift Driver, Fulfillment is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of cases within the Distribution facility using powered industrial equipment. This includes both physical handling and electronic tracking of inventory, while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

What You’ll Do:

Who You Are:

• A self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and RF scanning technology.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and safety.
• Reliable and adaptable to changing work environments.

What You’ve Done:

• 1+ year of experience operating forklifts (e.g., turret truck, cherry picker).
• Demonstrated ability to meet productivity and accuracy goals in a warehouse or fulfillment setting.
• Proven track record of following safety procedures and reporting incidents appropriately.

Nice to Haves:

• Current or previous forklift certification.
• Experience working in a high-volume fulfillment or distribution center.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Periodic exposure to heavy machinery and changing environmental conditions.

• Achieve 95%+ accuracy in inventory movement using RF scanners.
• Meet or exceed daily productivity targets consistently.
• Demonstrate adherence to all safety protocols with zero preventable incidents.
• Show reliability in attendance and punctuality.
• Exhibit teamwork and flexibility by supporting cross-functional tasks.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Familiarity with RF scanning and basic computer systems.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift operation.

• Accurate counting and record-keeping.
• Effective communication and problem-solving.
• Time management and task prioritization.
