Job summary

Capgemini, acting as the Employer of Record for Farmers' FBS unit, seeks an SAP Data Specialist to bridge raw data and business operations within SAP environments to optimize performance and data integrity.

The role involves designing and validating technical designs, supporting implementations, and ensuring data quality across cross-functional systems; remote and office-based work options are available as part of a flexible, inclusive, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Provides high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications
• Understands the business objectives and how best they can be supported by IT
• Responsible for the conceptual design of business applications
• Reviews and validates the technical design for business applications provided by the supplier
• Performs quality review checks on project deliverables
• Validates suppliers estimates
• Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components
• Reviews and validates the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements
• Supports the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues, training as required
• Maintain, audit, and update system master data to ensure accuracy across cross-functional enterprise systems
• Investigate system anomalies, data drift, and data quality issues, implementing fixes to prevent operational disruptions
• Works directly with business stakeholders or requirements, performing testing and BAU support

An SAP Data Specialist bridges the gap between raw data and business operations. They manage, extract, and interpret data within SAP environments to optimize performance, ensure data integrity, and support executive decision-making.

• 5+ Working with ETL in an SAP environment
• Proficiency working with Informatica Power Center for Data Integration.
• Experience working with DB2
• Proficiency with interface data from many disparate systems into an SAP (S/4) Finance system.
• Deep proficiency in SQL
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and project management abilities.
• Have supported an environment with Finance and Accounting data

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Snowflake integration
• Experience working with AWS GLUE
