RHA Health Services, LLC in Lenoir, NC is seeking a part-time RN for a facility-based crisis/non-hospital detox setting. You will provide oversight and general nursing care to individuals with behavioral health diagnoses or substance use disorders, with average stays of 5–7 days and no restraints.

The ideal candidate is an accredited-nursing-graduate with an Associate Degree in Nursing, valid RN license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Must meet education, experience, licensure/certification requirements per service definition.
• Prefer one year of nursing experience.
• Behavioral health nursing experience preferred.
• Some college training and/or management experience helpful.
• Valid driver’s license including personal vehicle insurance coverage.
• Pre-employment screening: background checks, OIG, etc.
• Proof of employment history or references if required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing assessment skills to assess and monitor clients in behavioral health/substance use treatment settings.
• Comply with Controlled Substances policies and maintain accurate inventories and logs.
• Monitor clients for side effects and adverse reactions to medications.
• Complete QA activities and participate in QA processes.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide nursing care in a facility-based crisis/non-hospital detox setting.
