RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Urgent Care Weekend Shift Team Lead to supervise an interdisciplinary team, coordinate crisis services, and ensure high standards of care in the Burlington, NC area.

The role requires a graduate degree in a related field, valid North Carolina licensure or an associate license poised for full licensure, and at least one year of relevant crisis experience. Strong supervisory skills are preferred and patient-centered care is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Valid NC licensure or Associate license that will be fully licensed within 30 months.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with behavioral health and crisis situations.
• Employee supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of an interdisciplinary team of professionals providing services in the community.
• Providing evidence-based individual therapy in a variety of settings.
• Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between the treatment team, the individual, natural supports, guardians, local agencies and the community.
• Overseeing intake, triage, care coordination, discharge coordination to appropriate levels of care, and shift handoffs to maintain continuity of care.

The BHUC Team Leader is responsible for overseeing shift operations, ensuring timely access to behavioral health crisis services and maintaining high standards of care. This combined role leads and supervises multidisciplinary staff, manages patient flow, and supports crisis stabilization efforts, including direct care delivery, assessments, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support. The Team Leader facilitates communication with external providers and internal departments, monitors clinical documentation for compliance with regulatory standards, and ensures adherence to safety protocols. They oversee patient intake, triage, care coordination, discharge coordination to appropriate levels of care, and shift handoffs to maintain continuity of care.**Responsibilities:*** Supervision of an interdisciplinary team of professionals providing services in the community* Providing evidence-based individual therapy in a variety of settings* Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between the treatment team, the individual, natural supports, guardians, local agencies and the community* Minimizing the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with the individual’s daily living and personal development* Supporting the team in providing the individual the development of various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management* Overseeing and participating in a first responder on-call system available to individuals served by the team and/or their natural support network**Requirements:*** Graduate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field* Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in the state of North Carolina or Associate license that will be fully licensed within 30 months* Licenses include LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT (or relevant associate level license)* Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with behavioral health and crisis situations* Employee supervisory experience strongly preferred* Valid driver’s license, auto insurance.**Pre-employment screening:*** Complete criminal background* Name checked in the registries.
