JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for serving food and drinks to guests in an efficient and friendly manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and generating return business. This position will also be responsible for maintaining pour costs, inventory products, cleanliness of the work area, cash handling, customer service, and responsible for alcohol service. May be scheduled in the Sports Bar or Lobby Bar.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  • Efficiently takes drink orders, enters the POS system, and handles payment methods appropriately.
  • Prepares food and drink orders and promptly delivers orders to guests.
  • Must be able to mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other drinks as requested.
  • Responsible for pouring and mixing alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Maintains a neat and clean station continually.
  • Ensures that alcoholic beverages are being served responsibly.
  • Report any health standards or safety needs immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Keeps Supervisor apprised of operational concerns including recipes, inventory, and supply needs.
  • Maintains daily pour cost, inventory, and cleanliness of the work area.
  • Stocks of beer, wine, liquor, ice, mixers, and dry goods.
  • Washes and stocks glassware and utensils.
  • Adheres to company policies, regulatory laws, codes, and department procedures.
  • Promotes internal guest service standards with courteous and respectful behavior with co-workers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS
  • Food and Beverage storage area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Six (6) months of alcohol or food service experience.
  • Effective communication auditory acuity, responding to questions, and providing
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills and abilities that promote positive guest services.
  • Stand or walk for long periods; perform routine bending and lifting of product up to 20lbs.; perform repetitive motions of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers; occasionally lift and maneuvers up to 50lbs; and work in a varied (hot, cold, smoky) environment.
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  • Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
  • Requires a High‑Security Gaming License clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Cocktail serving or bartending experience within the past two years.
