Living Redemption Community Development Corporation is hiring a Training Specialist to support the Fatherhood Program by delivering parenting skills training and leading peer support activities. You will coordinate family events and collaborate with Family Development Coaches to align training with individual service plans.

The role emphasizes engaging fathers, enhancing relationships with children, and promoting community involvement, with an emphasis on in-home family work when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience facilitating trainings or workshops.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; basic computer skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate parenting skills training sessions with evidence-based curricula.
• Lead support groups to foster community among participating fathers.
• Coordinate family events and activities like workshops and community projects.
• Develop and maintain peer support relationships to boost ongoing engagement.
• Collaborate with program staff to align trainings with ISPs and track progress.
• Provide feedback to improve training and support services.
