Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Purchasing of fasteners for resale and related items.
• Ensure compliance with established purchasing policies.
• Maintain proper replenishment levels of inventory.
• Collaborate with purchasing management to manage stock levels.
• Assist with stock & release contracts and vendor negotiations.
• Release materials within stock & release contracts.
• Handle non-inventory items like packaging materials and pallets.
• Coordinate with Receiving/Warehouse to return items to vendors promptly.
• Maintain systematic, retrievable purchasing documents.
• Communicate industry trends and new vendors to sales/management.
• Monitor freight issues and relate costs to inventory.
• Develop knowledge of TFI software for purchasing.
