Job summary

GNC is seeking a Store Manager in Training (SMIT) to develop the skills needed to manage a GNC store. Under the guidance of a Store Manager or District Manager, you will gain hands-on leadership experience, drive for results, and develop and lead a team in a dynamic retail environment.

You will learn to oversee daily operations, sales initiatives, and customer relationships while upholding GNC's Live Well philosophy.

Qualifications

• SMIT is a development focused role to prepare you to manage your own store.
• You will learn and be expected to lead, coach, and support your team alongside a Store Manager or District Manager.
• You will represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting the Live Well message.
• Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in training initiatives, projects, and goals to support your path to promotion.
• Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and MYGNC Rewards.
• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.
• Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and manage performance through feedback, recruitment, and coaching.
• Open, close and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory, and deposits.
• Attend community events to promote GNC's mission and initiatives.
