Job summary

GNC is seeking a Store Manager in Training (SMIT) to develop the skills needed to run a store under supervision. This full-time hourly program provides hands-on experience and leadership opportunities toward promotion to Store Manager, with responsibilities across daily store operations and customer service.

As a SMIT you will lead, coach, and support your team, drive for results, and uphold GNC values while promoting the Live Well brand.

Responsibilities

• Engage with your leader in training initiatives, projects, and goals to support your path to promotion.
• Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and customer relationships.
• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.
• Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and manage performance, recruiting and coaching.
• Open, close and operate the store, including cash handling, inventory counts and deposits.
• Attend community events to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.
