Job summary

Applegreen Group’s Pitt Stop Convenience Stores SC in Blythewood, SC seeks a Manager In Training to gain broad exposure to operations and leadership skills through rotations, hands-on experience and formal instruction.

The MIT will assist with daily operations, analyze reports, contribute to hiring and training, and develop interpersonal and leadership abilities under senior guidance to prepare for future store management.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and oversees the work and schedules
• Ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
• Ensures store standards are consistently improved in terms of housekeeping, merchandising, presentation and service.
• Hold regular communication meetings with General Manager and staff to ensure all plans are carried out.
• Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long‑term customer relationships.
• Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.
• Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
• Supports the General Manager to achieve Gross Profit Margin, Net Margin and Sales Targets.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
