Job summary

Dirt Cheap is seeking a Fast Track Assistant Store Manager to train with a store management team and learn how to run an efficient, profitable operation of a single unit location. Assists the Manager and Assistant Manager in the daily operation of the store, development of all employees within the store and ensure the best customer service standards are in place.

Fast Track Assistant Managers work an average of 50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education: Equivalent to high school.
• Over 1 year up to and including 3 years retail experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for effective communication.
• Ability to work an irregular schedule, including 45+ hours per week and some evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with cash handling and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct shifts to maximize productivity and protect assets.
• Ensure customer service standards are met and resolve issues.
• Assist in inventory counts and daily deposits.
• Communicate store results and coordinate with management and staff.
• Develop and coach team members on store procedures and customer service.
