Job summary

Mike's Carwash is seeking an Operations Manager in Training to learn all aspects of running a location and prepare for a General Manager role. You will lead team members, drive profitability, and ensure safety and operational excellence across daily activities.

The role requires extensive operational experience or a relevant degree as a substitute, with a starting pay up to $27/hr plus incentives and opportunities for growth within the Mike's network.

Qualifications

• Reasoning and Development: Ability to deal with practical problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Mathematical Development: Ability to score an 80% on our Money Handling Skills Assessment without use of a calculator.
• Language Development: Ability to read product manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; using understandable English; Speak with poise and confidence and/or effectively deal with customers.
• Experience: Extensive operational experience including proven ability to lead and develop small teams, hit goals consistently, and execute day-to-day upkeep of facilities and/or equipment. A degree in an applicable field may be a suitable substitution for operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Mike’s Purpose, and deliver on our Team Member Promise.
• Satisfy Customers. Doing what it takes for all customers to leave satisfied.
• Develop Management Team. Completing checklists on time and coaching the team.
• Develop Wash Associates. Orientation, training, and ongoing coaching.
• Maximize Location Profitability. Increase profits and manage budgets with location leadership.
• Ensure Operational Excellence. Complete OPEX and OEE follow-ups and staffing within guidelines.
• Create a Safety Conscious Culture. Promote safety and manage incidents with HR and Safety Manager.
• Attend Ops Meetings. Be present at quarterly Ops meetings and report back with notes.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures.
• Completing all other duties as assigned.
