Job summary

Mike's Carwash is seeking an entry level Manager in Training to learn the business from the ground up. The role focuses on inspiring and leading associates to deliver the Mike’s Purpose with every customer and to uphold our standards of wash quality and service.

You will participate in a structured management training program, receive hands-on coaching, and have opportunities for advancement through internal promotions as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Reasoning and Development: Ability to deal with practical problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Mathematical Development: Ability to score an 80% on our Money Handling Skills Assessment without use of a calculator.
• Language Development: Ability to read product manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; using understandable English; Speak with poise and confidence and/or effectively deal with customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Mike’s Purpose, and deliver on our Team Member Promise; be a role model for associates’ behavior.
• Customer Satisfaction: ensure guests leave satisfied, maintain wash quality, staffing, and handle complaints professionally.
• Operations Management: assist the General Manager to meet location goals and uphold standards.
• Associate Development: complete orientation and training checklists; ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Property and Equipment Maintenance: assist in repairs, keep area clean, track repairs not possible in house.
• Personal Development: participate in structured training; learn new skills for progression.
• Complying with company policies and procedures; complete other duties as assigned.
