Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily retail operations, drive sales, and manage budgets. You will supervise store managers, oversee staffing, training, and performance, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in retail with proven leadership, strong communication, and customer service orientation; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. The role is on-site with responsibilities across promotions, inventory, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of retail business experience or more preferred; including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
• Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in use of store equipment, tools and materials.
• A current valid driver's license is required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides information to store management by recapping promotional activity and reporting opportunities.
• Manages controllable costs by educating managers on procedures for controlling merchandise variation, salaries, overtime, cash, and maintenance costs.
• Collaborates with Marketing to ensure promotions and new product introductions are implemented.
• Protects employees, customers and assets by maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing safety training.
• Forecasts requirements, prepares annual budget, and analyzes variances to achieve financial objectives.
• Leads store managers, assists with recruiting, orientation, development and performance reviews.
• Implements non-discriminatory management skills in hiring, training, counseling, and separation processes.
