AIG invites applications for a Fast Track Claims Adjuster, Auto PD to manage auto physical damage claims from notice to resolution. The role involves reviewing coverage, liability, and vehicle damages, coordinating inspections, and communicating with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal partners.

You'll review estimates, negotiate settlements within authority, and document activity while ensuring timely handling, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance claims or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Comfortable using claims management systems and standard business software.
• Property and casualty licenses required; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through final resolution.
• Review coverage, determine liability as applicable, and evaluate vehicle damages.
• Coordinate inspections with repair facilities, appraisers, rental vendors, and customers.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal partners.
• Review estimates, photographs, repair documentation, and total loss evaluations.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and document claim activity accurately.
• Monitor claim progress to ensure timely handling and compliance with company standards and state regulations.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and elevate concerns when appropriate.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and customer service expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist customers through what can often be a stressful experience with empathy and professionalism.
