Aerotek is hiring a Truck Loader/Unloader in Sutherland, VA. This contract-to-hire role involves loading and unloading 18-wheel trailers, using scanners and WMS to track shipments, and maintaining safety and accuracy in a high-volume distribution center.

The position requires physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and a dependable work ethic. Onsite work with opportunities for advancement and further training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in loading/unloading warehouses preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable in a physically demanding environment and inside trailers.
• Basic computer and scanner experience.
• Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload 18-wheel trailers using conveyor systems.
• Handle freight safely and accurately.
• Utilize scanners, scales, and WMS to track shipments.
• Sort, label, count, and move products within the center.
• Support shipping, receiving, and cross-dock operations.
• Apply proper loading techniques to ensure safe transport.
• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily targets.
