Job summary

Domino’s Prep Cook position in Texas supports line cooks in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring food safety and proper handling of ingredients. You will prep items to Domino’s standards, rotate and date stock, and keep the prep area organized and sanitized.

A successful candidate is team-oriented, able to manage time effectively, and capable of standing for long shifts while lifting up to 30 pounds. A Texas Food Handler certification is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Texas Certified Food Handler's Certificate required.
• 1 year restaurant experience a plus.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Able to stand or walk 8-10 hours and lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed.
• Receiving trucks deliveries, checking in products, and inspecting for damage or missing goods.
• Dating, rotating, and storing all products received on the same day of delivery.
• Prep all products according to Domino’s standards.
• Proofing dough for 24 hours, dating and re-cooling.
• Maintaining proper temperatures of products while prepping.
• Checking temperatures of all refrigeration units.
• Restocking cups, soda machines, and related items.
• Reporting safety hazards and maintenance needs.
