Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with food prep, keeping inventory informed, proper storage, and following safety and sanitation guidelines while helping kitchen staff meet presentation and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling the service per each Food Order or BEO
• Preparing and cooking food as needed using grills, fryer, knives, etc.
• Preps all necessary food item for the daily service as directed
• Production of high quality food with excellent taste and follows presentation standards
• Breaks down stations and stores all food properly
• Wash and sanitize all flatware and glassware, kitchen utensils, supplies and equipment
• Maintain safety, sanitation and health code standards
• Organize and re-stock dishes, small wares, utensils, kitchen supplies and equipment
• Maintain direct communication with kitchen staff, advising of inventory levels, breakage and proper operation of equipment
• Wash, sanitize and proper storage of all carts, racks, hot boxes etc
• Properly dispose of trash and recyclables in assigned places
• Keep work area free of spills and food debris on floor
• Follow proper guidelines for the safe and sanitary operation of the dish machine
• Must be able to keep up in a fast paced environment
• Must prepare recipes as directed
• Must take direction well
• Maintain clean safe working environment
