Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Material Handler on the 1st shift to support the production line. The role focuses on packing, boxing, palletizing, staging, and safely moving finished goods, with emphasis on fast, accurate handling and adherence to safety rules.

You will operate equipment, maintain efficient throughput, and report concerns to management. This entry‑level position requires a HS diploma and ability to pass pre‑employment tests, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift, and twist.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• High noise levels and variable temperatures may be present; PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and assemble cardboard boxes for packing finished product.
• Pack finished products into boxes at rates of 6 boxes/min (40 lb) or 8 boxes/min (30 lb).
• Palletize finished boxed product at a rate of 40–50 boxes per pallet every 5 minutes.
• Stage pallets and guide boxes through double‑sided tape machine and seal securely.
• Move pallets to/from designated areas as required.
• Operate efficiently while following all safety rules.
• Communicate concerns regarding production, safety, or employee relations to management.
