Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler in Dallas, TX to pull materials, deliver to lines, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will unload shipments, verify receipts, and help with cycle counts while supporting safe operations.

The role requires forklift experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to read work orders. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage materials according to production schedules and work orders.
• Deliver components and raw materials to designated production lines.
• Replenish production line inventory to prevent downtime.
• Unload incoming shipments safely with equipment.
• Verify materials against packing slips and receiving docs.
• Put away received materials into inventory locations.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and report to supervision.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in WMS systems.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean; follow FIFO where applicable.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity improvement initiatives.
