Job summary

Harlem Shake in New York is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team at the Harlem location. You will cook burgers, fries, chicken, shakes, and other items according to Harlem Shake recipes and quality standards in a busy, fast-paced environment.

The role requires speed, accuracy, teamwork, and strict attention to food safety. Key duties include working at grill, fry, assembly, and prep stations, maintaining clean, organized stations, following FIFO and waste procedures, and

Qualifications

• Experience as line cook or fast-casual chef.
• Ability to follow recipes and food-safety procedures.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards.
• Work at grill, fry, assembly, prep stations as needed.
• Maintain accuracy, safety, and timely ticketing of orders.
• Complete daily prep, labeling, batching, and stocking.
• Follow FIFO and rotate all food products.
• Keep stations stocked, clean, and organized throughout shift.
• Record food waste and communicate low-stock items to the manager.
• Assist other team members during busy periods.
