Job summary

Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta, GA is seeking a dependable Kitchen Steward to maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen while supporting our culinary team. You will handle dishwashing, pantry duties, and basic cleaning to uphold high sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwasher or utility experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room and kitchen work areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and remove trash and recyclables throughout each shift.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and storage areas.
• Restock clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and supplies for the kitchen team.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as directed.
• Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning and organizational tasks.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Report equipment maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.
