Job summary

Noodles & Company is seeking a Cook to join our team in a friendly, fast-paced setting in Bismarck. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare noodles and other items, and ensure food safety and quality while contributing to a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team oriented, adaptable and dependable.
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and team.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome.
• Take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Follow operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
• Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Prepare food items including prep, noodles, salads, soups, sandwiches.
• Check food quality and temperatures to ensure freshness and safety.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures, including knife handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints effectively.
• Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift.
• Act with integrity and promote the culture of Noodles & Company.
• Position may include cook, cashier and/or server responsibilities.
