Key responsibilities include matching tickets to plates, communicating with the kitchen about timing and allergies, and keeping service areas clean and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; restaurant experience a plus.
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized during high-volume, fast-paced service.
• Strong communication with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Willingness to learn the menu and describe dishes accurately, including allergens.
• Team-oriented attitude and flexibility to jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately match tickets to plates and deliver food to the correct table and seat without relying on guests to identify their own order
• Communicate with kitchen staff to confirm order accuracy, timing, and any special requests (allergies, modifications) before running food
• Check each plate for presentation and temperature standards before it leaves the kitchen; flag any issues to the kitchen team immediately
• Deliver food promptly to maintain food quality and minimize wait times
• Announce and describe dishes to guests when delivering (e.g., "Here's your Lobster Mac & Cheese")
• Communicate allergy and special-request information clearly to the kitchen and confirm with guests when handing off allergen-sensitive dishes
• Assist servers with refilling drinks, clearing plates, and resetting tables as needed
• Support bussers and servers during high-volume periods to keep the dining room moving
• Maintain cleanliness of the expo line, tray stands, and food-running stations throughout the shift
• Communicate table or order issues to management promptly
