Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Food Runner to deliver orders quickly and accurately while upholding sanitation standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment and support other hospitality staff as needed. You will bus tables, check guest satisfaction, relay feedback to management, ensure proper tableware, assist with setup and guest requests, and maintain a polite, helpful demeanor.

Requires standing and walking for long periods, mobility across all dining areas, and working evenings

Qualifications

• Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
• Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
• Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
• Relay reports of customer satisfaction to management and relevant parties
• Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
• Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations
• Handle various impromptu requests from customers
